Scenic views and dream-towns in the Algarve
Sarah from sarahtoyin.com says you should not miss the Algarve –
The Algarve, Portugal has all the scenic views you could dream of with multiple towns such as Albufeira, Lagos and Portimao to visit. This is a perfect getaway trip for the budget traveler who still want to be by coast, since Portugal is known as the being very affordable. As well as being affordable the Algarve has many different pockets of clean and pristine beaches that you would love to visit with your ladies. I love the Algarve, it has a super fun and relaxed vibe that you just can’t go wrong with.
lucy from absolutelylucy.com suggests the stunning Milan as a girls getaway destination –
Everybody loves Italy, but so many always flock to Rome or Venice. Stray from the norm and you get a chance to experience all the classic Italian charm in it’s most fashionable and female-friendly city. Milan is such a beautiful location and so close to Lake Como and Venice – it’s a perfect place to use as a base for exploring the region. I actually recently visited on a girls’ weekend and haven’t stopped recommending it since! It was a long weekend filled with amazing food – fresh pizza on he banks of Lake Como, black truffle tagliatelle in cute little courtyards in Milan and incredible gelato as we explored the gorgeous neighbourhoods. Stay in the Brera area for art galleries, amazing places to eat and drink, and shopping! Plus it’s just a short walk from the centre of Milan and the famous Duomo, but with all the authentic Italian charm.
Get cultured in Vienna
Sarah from sarahtoyin.com votes for Vienna for architecture and culture with your girls!
Vienna located in Austria is a cultured city of architecture, classical music and coffee shops. Going on a girls trip would be wonderful for the architecture and culture lovers who would love to spend a night at the Opera or enjoy the beautiful scenery that Vienna has to offer. Spending time at visiting museums, exploring historical locations and spending time in beautiful gardens may be perfect for a quick girls city break that you have been needing.
Enjoy the gateway to islands and national parks in Zadar
Davida from www.wondersofwanders.com loves Zadar – Zadar were a drink, it would be a fruity wine with a potent dash of ancient history, an undercurrent of cool and a zesty immersion into gorgeous backdrops. Dubrovnik may be the glittering jewel in Croatia’s crown, however, there is every reason to check into Zadar for a girls’ getaway. The compact city on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast is the perfect gateway to islands and national parks, so you won’t have to look far for an exciting excursion or three. Try an awe-inducing time at Plitvice Lakes where routes of various lengths and difficulty levels herald 360-degree views of stunning turquoise lakes. Or, head for uncrowded beaches on the olive island of Ugljan, a 20-minute ferry ride from Zadar, for some rejuvenating down time. Zadar holds its own as a crucible of historical prominence, encapsulated in architectural remnants dating as far back as the 3rd century AD. It does all this without missing the beat of a modern creative energy. Beyond the medieval core that is the Old Town, Zadar dances to its own rhythm with a Sea Organ that is a feat of arty engineering. Along the same seafront promenade, Nikola Bašić’s Greeting to the Sun installation collects the sun’s rays by day and, by night, release them in a burst of psychedelic colours as a tribute to the city’s magical sunsets. Zadar will not long stay one of Croatia’s underrated cities, so drink deep now while it’s still largely under the radar. Cheers to Zadar, a satisfying sip of fine wine for your next girls’ getaway.
Relaxed atmosphere or vibrant nightlife – Malaga has it all
Sarah from sarahtoyin.com says enjoy the options in Malaga –
When people hear “Malaga” some people think of overcrowded beaches full of people and non-stop partying. That is actually the surrounding areas of Costa del Sol where Malaga also happens to be located, although Malaga does have an active night life. Malaga is the perfect girls getaway because it has a great relaxed atmosphere with beaches, pools, ice cream and has a vibrant night life. I spent one of my birthdays in Malaga on a solo trip and would love to have come back here with the girlies. Just book yourself a beach front hotel and enjoy the relaxing views of the sea with your ladies.

Shop until you drop in Hoi An, Vietnam
lucy from absolutelylucy.com suggests the stunning Hoi An, Vietnam as a girls getaway destination –
Vietnam is one of the most amazing countries i have travelled for culture, history, food and fashion. It has so much to offer and Hoi An really is an epicentre for it all. I loved the week I spend in the city – it’s so pretty and set on a river with the beach just a few kilometres away. It’s full of amazing places to try authentic Vietnamese food and drink, plus markets full of fresh fruit, fish and much more. Every year the city hosts a lantern festival when hundreds of lanterns are released into the sky at night and often there are beautiful firework displays. You can enjoy boat rides along the river and cycle the area, or explore the history and heritage trail. But one thing that sets it apart for a girls’ trip is the shopping. Hoi An is the place to get clothes custom-made within as little time as 24 hours! Just choose a seamstress or shop, pick out the designs you like and the fabrics, then leave them to it. Pop back for a final fitting so they can make any small adjustments and the clothes are yours to take home at a fraction of UK/US retail prices. It’s a great way to get your favourite styles hand-made to a high standard to fit your body perfectly.
Enjoy a tropical dreamland in Bohol Island
Sarah from sarahtoyin.com says Bohol island is a dream destination – The Philippines is a tropical dreamland with many beautiful islands for a girls trip! The specific island I have visited is Bohol Island and this one island is a lovely getaway trip for the ladies. To get to this island you will need to get a boat from Cebu to Bohol Island. This a lovely girls trip because of the friendly locals, beaches, nature and water activities that are available to do. Let’s not forget the affordable massage and spa treatments available to allow you to pamper yourself, leaving you feeling refreshed.

Beaches, drinks and landscapes – Don’t miss Rio De Janerio with the girls
Crystal clear beaches, refreshing drinks, and mesmerizing landscapes, Rio de Janeiro is by far one of the greatest girls getaways. From north to south, Rio has unique neighborhoods filled with exciting venues and things to do.
While Ipanema is my favorite area (and one of the best places to stay in Rio), Santa Teresa and Lapa offer live samba performances and lots of street art. The funky bars offering the national cocktail – caipirinha – are just the beginning of the fun.
Here, the city landscape mixes so perfectly with the surrounding nature that it is difficult not to be impressed. When you look down from either the Sugarloaf Mountain or the Corcovado (Christ The Redeemer Statue), you marvel humbly at the city below.
It’s absurdly beautiful!
As for shopping, Rio has all kinds of shops that you can think of. From vintage to modern hip, the city’s stores are so diverse that they fulfill nearly every visitor’s wishes. Take your time and shop for a tiny Brazilian bikini. After all, where else could you possibly wear such a small bikini without having people staring at you? It’s perfectly normal here.
Rio beaches are inviting, and while some are pretty crowded, you can easily find some off the beaten path spots, too. This coastal city has some of the most jaw-dropping beaches I’ve ever seen before. So sit on the beach with your friends while sipping caipirinha and watching the locals in their daily routine. Sunbathing in Rio should be on your travel bucket list. It’s a delightful experience.
So next time, when you start planning your girls’ getaway, consider Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and embrace the local diversity. This city has everything to make any trip remarkable!
Enjoy the coastlines in Puerto Rico
With over 300 miles of coastline across its islands, Puerto Rico is the perfect spot for a sunny beach getaway with your girlfriends.
Spend your days relaxing at the beach, exploring the only rainforest in the US (El Yunque National Forest), or shopping at the largest mall in the Caribbean (Plazas Las Américas).
At night, head out for delicious Caribbean-inspired cuisine and some sexy Salsa dancing and music.
Puerto Rico is also home to Casa Bacardí, the largest premium rum distillery in the world. At Casa Bacardí, you can learn how rum is made, sample some rum, as well as learn how to make popular rum-based cocktails, such as piña coladas.
