In general Israel felt safe and people were super nice and helpful.I've had so much luck to be there before the new situation... even tho day before I came there were rockets attack.Still it felt safe.I've stayed in Tel Aviv wich reminded me kinda experience in Barcelona.happy people playing on the beach... food was really good but in general expensive.after Tel Aviv I've visited Jerusalem and it was magic for me.Western wall is good to visit during weekend at night where you can find only locals.entire area is way nicer than during the day.walking around closed stores felt like in video game =) labyrinth. I also had a chance to go to dead sea.Wich I recommend to be there in the afternoon and go back by the evenings, experience is nice but there is not much to do besides laying in the water. The way from Jerusalem to dead sea is also amazing. I've spend just 4 days in Israel, if I had a chance I would love to come back and visit Eilat as well

Israel was amazing. In every single way. I have never in my life felt safer and statistics back me up. I would be willing to argue that Israel is the safest place in the world for solo women. Although I went with a group of people, many times I would walk at night either alone or with 1-3 other women around my age (18-20) and sometimes even intoxicated and we never once felt in danger from Tel Aviv to Tiberius. Abraham hostels are a super high quality line of hostels and the one in Tel Aviv is the best I’ve stayed at. It has tours, live music, clean rooms/bathrooms and so incredibly safe and inclusive. I cannot recommend Israel enough and I am counting the seconds until I go back. It is so diverse, beautiful and breathtaking.

I just got back last week and had wonderful experiences. I loved travelling there alone as a woman, it was much easier than I anticipated both in Israel and in the Palestinian territories. It's really beautiful there. So much to see.
Posted: July 17, 2023I was alone in Israel for two weeks and I loved it. I walked around the Jerusalem markets and the Old Town, and also went on trips to the Dead Sea and Galilee. I never felt uncomfortable or scared.
