My experience in Prague was a bit sad for me. I didn't feel safe at night, I had to spend the night outside due to my login problem due to the hostel check-in time and I was constantly harassed, men were giving very disturbing looks, I felt very unsafe. İ hope you have really good experience in prague .But i want to recommend you to eat Trdelnik which is so famous traditional dessert in Prague. İ loved it . Also city is not that expensive. İ hope you will have good experience. Be careful and safe all travel ladies :)
Posted: April 24, 2024It was my first solo trip. In terms of safety I had mixed experience specially in clubs. You need to watch out for your personal belongings or else it can get stolen. But overall I love the vibe of the city. I did a hike with a friend second time I was there to Hrensko, it was beautiful
Posted: April 23, 2024Experienced: March, 2022It is a very beautiful unique city. We stayed at a almost perfect hostel and since the city is already cheap the accommodation was also very cheap almost 12 euros per night. The city is beautiful, we spent most of our time in Prag castle and climb the bell tower there, which u recommend highly. The famous bridge and the old town square are so impressive and you feel like you can't leave there. My overall experience was so good. I traveled lots of cities and Prague is my favorite.

I feel safe. I am really recommending you prague. It was really good experience. The food and places are excellent. And the prices it was okay. The city is not expensive. It has average price. And you must try their traditional food.

I visited Prague with friends in July 2023 I recommend it very much It’s a city where you can walk everywhere without it being too steep, but if you prefer there’s also reliable transportation. We felt very safe, the locals were all very friendly and welcoming. I suggest visiting the main attractions but also the Hebrew cemetery with a guide it’s very interesting. The food is very good but be prepared to eat a lot of meat, but there are also a lot of options for vegan/vegetarian people

I went to Prague. It was so attractive and peaceful. There were many people from other countries. I liked it. Prague was a little bit expensive. I tried terdelnik and I liked dessert. If you are thinking of going, I recommend it.
Posted: March 31, 2024Experienced: February, 2024I spent a few days in Prague alone recently. I walked around late at night and never felt unsafe. It was the most magical city I have ever visited.
Posted: March 30, 2024Prague is a fairly safe city, very pretty and well organized. It's affordable and has a lot to offer. I had underestimated it but it managed to surprise me. Also, the food is really good and the people are very kind.. I hope to go back!
Posted: March 30, 2024Experienced: October, 2021I felt very safe trough the whole trip. I arrived in the night to the town but I do not had to worry about my safety. I was not satisfied with the food, meanwhile tried to choose restaurants with good reviews. It has good sights, pretty walkable city. You can see all in 2 days.
Posted: March 3, 2024Experienced: December, 2022Went to Prague in the summer of ‘23 after my graduation with a group of friends and had such a fun time. The city had everything you could possibly want; amazing restaurants and bars, souvenir shops and shopping malls, great clubs etc. There was something for everyone there so I highly recommend.

Prague is very safe! One of the safest cities in Europe! Of course there are some pickpockets from time to time, and weirdos and homeless people in certain quarters at night, but usually they don’t bother you. I have not been harassed on the street, except twice in all 22 years of my life, and both times the men were very drunk and I had my friends around. I am sure that strangers would have helped me if I was alone.

Prague is safe during the day, at night it is not, but only in some places as the main square .. You dont need to worry being alone on the street, there are always some people around. But just avoid completely dark places and streets, there are usually some homeless people, begging for money. But as a local here, i ve had only one bad experience with sexual harassment, i live here since 2015.

Hi! I am staying in Frankfurt for just over a year working with a local youth program. I love photography and exploring and am excited to get to know the city better and to explore more of Europe!
Amanda
Hi! I'm Amanda and I'm a beginner traveller. I would be more than happy to find new friends and plan trips together. I'm not into partying and would rather visit a nature trail, spa, museum or just walk around and get to know places. I'm also open to beach vacations. People usually describe me as a kind-hearted, open-minded and funny person. I want everyone to feel like their wishes has been heard and try to make them happen so that everyone can enjoy the trip. I speak Finnish, Swedish and English and would like to learn Spanish. Let's make memories together😁❤️
